INSTALLING THE MASK
1. Perform hand hygiene;
2. Hold the mask by the ear loops. Place a loop around each ear.
3. Apply the mask on the nose (colored side out, if applicable). Use two fingers to mold the metal strip over the nose;
4. Pull the underside of the mask to cover the mouth and chin;
5. Avoid touching the mask during the procedure.

REMOVING THE MASK
1. Perform hand hygiene;
Note: Avoid touching the front of the mask as it could be contaminated. Only touch the ear loops;
2. Remove the ear loops and gently pull the mask forward. Avoid contact with the uniform.
4. Dispose of the mask in a biohazard bag or in the designated place;
5. Perform hand hygiene.
